BARRIER REEF SHAWL - Knitted Plush [Dot] technique

This close up shows a small section of the formal side of the Barrier Reef Shawl. It shows several features of the technique, namely the dot method and the use of a large variety of yarns……….. the ribbon yarns show their gloss quite well in this shot.

It also shows some detail of the structure of the shawl. It's a large triangular made in modular fashion from diamond and triangular shaped pieces that are each made separately then sewn together. This picture shows the meeting point of several of the diamond shapes quite clearly.

THE HEAVENS SHAWL - Knittes Plush [Dot] technique

Sections of both the formal and informal sides of this shawl are shown illustrating the many different colours and types of yarn used.

ALL SHADES OF RED SHAWL - Once more from the middle technique

This picture shows some of the detail from the centre quarter of the shawl - lots of different yarns, lots of different stitches and effects.
