I enjoy working with other knitters and sharing the techniques I use. I have developed a number of three hour workshops that can be run separately as one off sessions or together over one or two days.

The only entry requirements are that you can cast on, cast off, and be able to do plain and purl rows. All the techniques can be done by hand or on 'bring your own' simple bulky knitting machines.

The workshops can be organised with your group either in Canberra or further afield.

THE WORKSHOPS OFFERED INCLUDE

Knitting Plus
In this workshop we combine yarns of different types, plies and colours in a variety of textures and finishes.

The Holiday Shawl
In this workshop we start a modular shawl using mainly intarsia techniques.

Feral Knitting
In this workshop we knit with two or more yarns in each row, producing effects which probably won't be found in traditional knitting designs. Hence 'Feral' as opposed to Fair Isle knitting!

Knit on the Wild Side
In this workshop we make plush and wild thread fabrics using adapted intarsia techniques.

Embraided Knitting
In this workshop we create a heavily textured fabric by braiding and embroidering the yarn ends.
